Zimmerman Trial Lights Shut Off, Defense Attorney Complains To Judge About Hours

The days in court have been long and often emotional in the murder trial against George Zimmerman. The session on Tuesday went so late in fact, that the automatic lights in the courthouse shut off in the middle of statements at close to 10pm.

It has also been too arduous for defense attorney Don West. West, the same lawyer who made a knock-knock joke in his opening statements, complained to Judge Debra Nelson.

"I don't think I can physically keep up this pace much longer," West said, "It's 10 o'clock at night. We started this morning. We've had full days, every day."

Nelson originally called for a 9am start time for Wednesday but later pushed it back to 10.
