A blast that could be felt for miles ripped through Rosedale, a town about 5 miles outside of Baltimore, on Tuesday afternoon, after a freight train caught fire and exploded. So far, no injuries have been reported and residents of the neighborhood are restricted from returning home at the current time.
The tractor trailer veered off the rails at around 2pm and later caused an explosion that's heat and force blasted through the surrounding area causing store windows and light bulbs to explode. Early reports say that multiple buildings collapsed although no contact with the train was suspected.
