Spanish Demonstrators Try To Shut Down Gov To Protest Unemployment

Demonstrators took to the streets in Madrid to protest the government's austerity programs that they see as responsible for the country's deepening unemployment crsis. This week, unemployment in the country - which has the fourth biggest economy in Eurozone - topped 27%, with unemployment for the young well over 50%. That lands it close to being the worst economy in Europe, only behind Greece. Over 6 million Spanish people are out of work.
Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy is expected to announce further austerity measures to reduce Spain's deficit on Friday.
