A Russian, An Italian & An American Blast Off Into Space...

A Russian Soyuz Rocket blasted into orbit on Tuesday and flew safely to the International Space Station carrying a multi-national crew. The trio includes cosmonaut Fyodo Yurchikin, NASA veteran Kyle Nyberg, and Italian test pilot Luca Parmitano -- a rookie taking his first flight.

The crew will make multiple visits over the next few months with one special spacewalk on the agenda: carrying the Olympic torch in honor of the Winter Games to come in Sochi, Russia.
