Mohammed Morsi Trial In Egypt With Muslim Brotherhood Members For Inciting Violence

Deposed Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi will stand trial for committing and inciting violent clashes in Cairo last December. He'll be tried along with 14 other members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Morsi is charged with intentionally terrorizing peaceful protesters to the point of killing hundreds. Since then, supporters of the former president have met with similar violence from the Egyptian military.

Egypt's first democratically elected president was ousted from power by the military on July 3 -- exactly a year after he was put in office. Since the overthrow, hundreds of his supporters have been killed in protests.
