The Fall That Could Ruin The Lakers' Play-Off Chances
Bryant's calling it the worst sprained ankle of his career.
L.A. Laker Kobe Bryant left Wednesday night’s 96-92 loss to the Atlanta Hawks with a severely sprained ankle that will leave him out “indefinitely.”
In the final seconds of the game, Kobe landed on Dahntay Jones’ foot on the way down from a baseline jump-shot and fell to the floor. He walked off the court without crutches but with a noticeable limp.
The Lakers are scheduled to play the Indianapolis Pacers this Friday; so far, there’s no official word whether Kobe will be back on his feet.
