Knives On A Plane?
In one of the biggest rollbacks since Sept. 11, 2001, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will start allowing passengers board planes with small knives, baseball bats and pool sticks.
"This change allows TSA to focus on the threats that can cause catastrophic damage to an aircraft." a TSA spokesperson stated.
Some flight attendants criticize the change, claiming space on flights is crowded enough already. Various pilots' unions are also not pleased. American Airlines' union spokesperson calls the change, "a significant step backward in security." The new regulations go into effect on April 25, 2013.
