Jamie Dimon, the JPMorgan CEO, took a stance on millennial bashing in his speech at Fortune's Global Forum on Thursday saying that the stereotype of an entitled attitude is "hogwash". While Time Magazine deemed 20-somethings the "Me Me Me Generation", Dimon defended young people today at the conference in Chengdu, China with some sympathy for the current job market. He believes the talent is better than ever but Generation Y is at the mercy of a weak job market where skills are mismatched with openings.
Dimon expressed his concern about the economy overall saying that it could be some time before interest rates stabilize. In an optimistic moment, Dimon said the crisis "could have been worse".
