It's finally happening: Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, was admitted to the hospital early Monday AM and is confirmed to be in labor with her first child, who may one day sit on the British throne.
Prince William is with his wife in the exclusive Lindo wing of St. Mary's Hospital. All we've been told so far is that "things are progressing normally."
When the child is born, a plaque officially announcing his or her weight and gender will be put on a golden easel that's been set up outside Buckingham Palace. And, of course, there will be a royal tweet.
Don't hold your breath for the name though: it's taken weeks or even months for royal baby names to be announced in the past.
