Iran has been hit by another earthquake less than a week after 37 people were killed near Bushehr on the Persian Gulf coast by a 6.1 quake.  Iranian state TV is reporting that today's quake was registered at a 7.5 magnitude by Iran's seismological center and hit an area about 26 miles away from the Pakistani border. The US Geological Survey says the magnitude registered at 7.8.

Conflicting reports are surfacing on the death toll, but CNN reports up to 40 people have been killed in Iran and as many as 7 in Pakistan.
