See Elizabeth Taylor's First Wedding Dress That Just Sold For Nearly $200k

Christie's predicted to sell Elizabeth Taylor's first wedding dress for somewhere around $30,000 to $40,000. Instead, it sold for almost $200,000 in London on Wednesday.

The dress, made of satin with sewn in pearls and a built-in corset, was a gift from MGM studios after Taylor starred in "Father of the Bride." It was worn in the spring of 1950 when Taylor was 18 and marrying Conrad "Nicky" Hilton, Paris Hilton's great grandfather. Taylor, was passed in 2011, would later marry seven additional times after their three-month-long marriage ended.
