Carly Rae Jepsen's Horrible First Pitch Means No One Will Ever Call Her, Ever

The "Call Me Maybe" singer tremendously botched her opening pitch at Tampa Bay Rays game over the weekend. The ball barely cleared the mound, before rolling over into the grass and stopping nowhere near the plate. Not a strike, but definitely enough to get her all over the internet and into the 'worst first pitch' hall of fame.

The 27-year-old seems to have a good sense of humor about the whole thing, tweeting her embarassment and joking about being the first member of her family to make it on ESPN (where her pitch was mocked.)

Funnily enough, Jepsen is capable of throwing a baseball; in her last ceremonial first pitch at an Orioles game this year, she threw a strike.
