Pianist Performs Hanging Upside Down From A Crane

Pianist Alain Roche found an unusual way to mark the re-opening of the Red Cross Museum in Geneva last week: he performed a concert hanging upside down from the cable of a crane.

Roche performed for about an hour after he and his piano were hoisted by a cable above a crowd of about 1,500 people. The Red Cross Museum re-opened in Geneva on May 20, 2013, after being closed for a 2-year renovation. It now includes "The Humanitarian Adventure," a series of 12 eyewitness stories, as a new permanent exhibit in the museum.
