The Al-Qaeda offices are probably more similar to your daily grind than you might expect. The AP has a letter showing that a disgruntled
terrorist employee, by the name of Moktar Belmoktar, was admonished for not filing expense reports on time, missing meetings and avoiding phone calls from his superiors. Sounds more like corporate America than a terrorist cell.
And just like many of those sick of their current work environment, Belmoktar quit his position at the North African branch and created his own start-up. In this line of work, that means organizing an operation that took more than 30 people hostage in Algeria in January.
